Teardrop Banded Agate Beach Stone Pendant

This beautiful stone was found on the beach by our house. But don't let that fool you, we have an eye for "diamonds in the rough" (ha-ha, it's totally not a diamond, obviously. But it's still pretty. And unique. And something nobody else has).

Before cutting and polishing, it might not look like much. After cutting and polishing, these beach rocks are super pretty.

I wove an intricate bezel around it to hold it safely in place, with the back open and our signature swirl as well so it is completely reversible. Then I attached a matching copper chain and finished it off with a sweet Olive shell dangle also found on the beach.

The finished product is a one of a kind necklace, a memento from a beautiful place, a little piece of the Gaviota Coast, and sure to start a conversation.

This one in particular is a Banded Agate in the shape of a teardrop. In this stone you see lines of dark browns, light browns and milky whites. If you hold it up to the light you can see through areas of translucent chalcedony. It measures approximately 1 3/4 inches from top to bottom and 1 1/4 inch across hung on a 24" chain with a 1" extender. An Olive shell connected to the extender is the finishing touch.

This item ships in a Kraft gift box for safe shipping and sweet gift giving.

Just in case: do not sleep, exercise, or shower in your jewelry. Keep it in a safe place like a jewelry box when not wearing it. Try not to throw it in a drawer or purse, as that can cause jewelry to break or become tangled. Gemstones can break or crack with force. Jewelry can be fragile. Please treat it with care.
