These pins were made by encasing a real white oak leaf in recycled copper. Its a process we do in the studio called electroforming.
Pins measure around 1 and 3/4 to 2 inches in length by 1 inch with. All are similar, yet have their own unique look because nature doesn't make any leaf exactly the same.

Electroforming is a process where we take copper from a sacrificial anode and deposit it onto our organic material using an electrical current. There really is a leaf in each of these earrings.

Any imperfections are not to be seen as defects, but unique qualities of using natural leaves, recycled or reclaimed metals and buying handmade. You may not get the pin pictured but one of equal beauty and uniqueness.
