This pendant was made by encasing a real oak leaf in recycled copper. Its a process we do in the studio called electroforming.
I called it a mystery oak leaf because a bug ate some of the leaf and I dont remember where I gathered it, so its a mystery. All that aside, I really love the shape.
It is hung on an 18 inch copper orbital chain with handmade infinity style clasp.

Electroforming is a process where we take copper from a sacrificial anode and deposit it onto our organic material using an electrical current. There really is a leaf in each of these pendants.
