Copper

I source my copper locally, usually from homeowners, plumbers, electricians or the scrap yard. The process from scrap pipe or wire to jewelry is a fun one.

For pipe, I cut the length I need and crush it in a ten ton press. That leaves me with two pieces of sheet copper. From there I can cut whatever shape my heart desires. For wire, it is mostly a matter of straightening and cleaning before I can use it.

This collection features items I make from various pieces of that scrap copper.
