This unique piece of jewelry was made from either recycled copper pipe or broken drum cymbals. They are hung on handmade 14 Karat Rose Gold fill ear wires.
They are a neat pentagon shape that reminds me of a diamond.
The journey from scrap metal to jewelry is a fun and labor intensive process. To prepare the copper pipe, we crush it in a ten ton press, and that leaves us with two pieces of usable sheet metal. The drum cymbals get cleaned and polished. From there we measure, draw, cut, punch, drill, file and polish these pentagons. Lastly, we add our handmade 14 Karat Rose Gold fill ear wires.
These catch the light beautifully when worn, and are sure to be a conversation starter when you tell people "they are made from drum cymbals (or copper pipe)!'

Due to the recycled nature of this metal, it may be slightly distressed looking. There may be texture, scratches or marks in the metal. These imperfections are not to be seen as defects, but unique qualities of using recycled or reclaimed metals and buying handmade. We try our best to keep these imperfections to a minimum. Because of this your item may not look identical to the one shown, but it will be equally beautiful.
