These hat talismans were made by encasing real Oak leaves in recycled copper. Its a process we do in the studio called electroforming.
I designed them to sit under your hat band to add style and character as they patina over time.
To attach them to your hat, you simply slip them between your hat and hat band. These ones also have holes so you can sew them on if you want.

Electroforming is a process where we take copper from a sacrificial anode and deposit it onto our organic material using an electrical current. There really is a leaf in there, under a heavy layer of copper.
